Fed chairman, Paulson in AIG talks with Congress

WASHINGTON, Sept 16 - Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson were meeting with U.S. Congressional leaders late on Tuesday to discuss the problems of embattled insurer American International Group Inc (AIG.N) , a source familiar with situation said.

The source declined to comment on whether the discussion would include the possibility of using government money in any resolution of AIG's credit crisis.
