POSCO E&C wins $500 mln El Salvador plant order

SEOUL, March 4 (Reuters) - South Korean builder POSCO Engineering & Construction Co said on Tuesday it had won a $500 million order to build a coal power plant in El Salvador.

POSCO E&C secured the deal from AES Fonseca, an El Salvador unit of U.S. power company AES Corp (AES.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), said an official from the South Korean constructor. (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Keiron Henderson)
