Hynix raises DRAM prices by around 15 pct in April

SEOUL, May 5 (Reuters) - Hynix Semiconductor Inc (000660.KS), the world's second-biggest memory chip maker, raised contract prices for its computer memory chips by around 15 percent in April, a company executive said on Monday.

James Kim, vice president in charge of investor relations, also said the company expected more increases in dynamic random access memory (DRAM) contract prices in May. (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; Editing by Anne Marie Roantree)
