M.Stanley hires SE Asia private bank head from Citi
SINGAPORE, April 9 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley (MS.N) has appointed Citigroup's Tan Su Shan as the head of its private banking in Southeast Asia, the bank said on Wednesday.
Tan, who will rejoin Morgan Stanley in May, was previously heading Citigroup's (C.N) wealth management business in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.
Tan left Morgan Stanley for Citigroup in 2005.
Morgan Stanley's private banking arm, which is making a big push into the Indian domestic wealth market from its Singapore and Hong Kong operations, saw over 50 percent growth in its Asia private wealth business last year. (Reporting by Koh Gui Qing, editing by Neil Chatterjee)
