AUTOSHOW-VW to sell 1 million vechicles in China in '08-CEO

BEIJING, April 20 (Reuters) - Volkswagen expects to sell at least one million vehicles in China this year, the company's chief executive officer said on Sunday.

"I am confident we can break the 1 million vehicle barrier in 2008," Martin Winterkorn told reporters at the Beijing Auto Show.

In 2007 VW sold 910,000 vehicles in China, one of their biggest markets. (Reporting by Marcel Michelson; Editing by Lincoln Feast)
