Feb 13 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 0400 GMT on Wednesday.

** Digital camera and medical equipment maker Fujifilm Holdings Corp (4901.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it will launch a 64.4 billion yen ($600 million) bid for 66 percent of drug maker Toyama Chemical Co Ltd 4518.T. To read more, please double click on [nTKV003019]

** Yahoo Inc's (YHOO.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) second-biggest investor urged Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) to raise its $42 billion bid for the Web pioneer and warned Yahoo it has few options left, raising the pressure on them to seal a deal. ** Australia's Symbion Health Ltd SYB.AX recommended its shareholders accept a A$2.7 billion ($2.4 billion) takeover offer from Primary Health Care Ltd (PRY.AX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) after a year-long battle for its medical testing businesses, prized in a country with a rapidly ageing population. ** Dutch banking group ING (ING.AS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said it agreed to sell its Mexican insurance business, Seguros ING to AXA SA (AXAF.PA: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) for about $1.5 billion. [nN12283601]

** Xiamen C&D Inc (600153.SS: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and Taiwan Life Insurance Co (2833.TW: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) will jointly invest a total of 240 million yuan ($33.4 million) to set up a joint life insurance venture in China, the Chinese company said. [nSHA112806]
