TOKYO, March 19 (Reuters) - Japanese automakers will start to feel the impact from the second half of the next business year if the yen remains strong, the head of an auto industry group said on Wednesday.

Fujio Cho, chairman of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), also said there was no plan to ask the government to intervene in the currency markets. (Reporting by Nobuhiro Kubo; Editing by Rodney Joyce)
