WW Grainger cites justice dept concerns

LOS ANGELES, Feb 8 (Reuters) - WW Grainger Inc (GWW.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Friday the U.S. Department of Justice in December had informed it of its concern that the company had potentially overcharged government customers.

The building maintenance supply company said it learned on Friday that a complaint filed by a former employee who alleged contract noncompliance was unsealed in U.S. District Court in Wisconsin. (Reporting by Alexandria Sage; Editing by Gary Hill)
