Logitech fourth-quarter profit rises 7 pct
NEW YORK, April 21 (Reuters) - The world's largest computer mice maker, Logitech (LOGN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), posted a 7 percent rise in fourth-quarter net profit on Monday, helped by higher sales.
The company said net income for the fiscal fourth quarter rose to $60.3 million, or 32 cents per share, compared to $56.2 million, or 29 cents per share in the same period a year earlier.
The company said it still expected to post 15 percent growth in sales and operating income in fiscal 2009.
The group had been expected to post an 11 percent rise in fourth-quarter net profit to $62 million, according to the average estimate in a Reuters poll of 12 analysts. (Reporting by Emily Chasan; Editing by Alan Raybould)
