NEW YORK, April 24 (Reuters) - Herbalife Ltd. (HLF.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), a nutritional supplements marketer, said on Thursday that Gregory Probert, its president and chief operating officer, did not finish his MBA degree as stated in his biography.

The Los Angeles company said Probert was enrolled in a graduate MBA program at California State University for 12 quarters during the 1980s but didn't obtain a degree.

"The company is reviewing the matter and, upon completion of this internal investigation, will take any appropriate action," said Herbalife. (Reporting by Dane Hamilton) (Reuters messaging: dane.hamilton.reuters.com@reuters.net. 646 223 6161)
