Dillard's shareholder to nominate 4 directors
ATLANTA, March 19 (Reuters) - A Dillard's Inc (DDS.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) shareholder group on Wednesday said it plans to nominate four people for election to the retailer's 12-member board, saying that the company's "vast value potential is not being realized."
Barington Capital Group LP, which represents investors that own about 5.6 percent of Dillard's stock, said in a statement that its board nominees are James Mitarotonda, Barington Capital chairman; corporate governance professor Charles Elson; former Wal-Mart Stores (WMT.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) executive Nick White, and Eric Salus, who has worked at Macy's (M.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and other chains.
