AMSTERDAM, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Nokia (NOK1V.HE) has delayed the launch of its music stores in Germany, France, Italy and Spain until next year, a company spokesman said on Tuesday.

"We will go live in Europe and Asia next year," Nokia spokesman Kari Tuutti said.

Nokia launched the service in Britain one month ago and was earlier planning to launch in large European markets by the end of the year.

"We aim to first ensure that the service works well and the consumers get what they want," Tuutti said.

He said Kylie Minogue's new album was the top selling product on Nokia's store "by a wide margin" in the first week when Nokia had the exclusive right to sell it. (Reporting by Tarmo Virki)
