Fed policy creates problems for emerging mkts-PBOC
BEIJING, May 30 (Reuters) - Deep cuts in U.S. interest rates by the Federal Reserve and an accompanying rise in global liquidity have created inflationary problems for emerging markets, Chinese central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan said on Friday.
Zhou told a conference that global central banks must enhance cooperation to tackle the inflation threat, which he said was exacerbated by fast-rising commodity prices. (Reporting by Eadie Chen; Writing by Alan Wheatley; Editing by Ken Wills)
