MUMBAI, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Indian telecom operator Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd VSNL.BOVSL.N said on Thursday it would spend $200 million on an intra-Asia submarine cable system that will be built by Tyco Telecommunications Inc (TYC.N).
The cable system will link Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan with an additional connection to the Philippines and, potentially, Vietnam, the Indian firm said.
