July 10 (Reuters) - Greek dry bulk carrier Diana Shipping Inc (DSX.N) said it signed a time charter contract with a private company for one of its panamex vessels, which is expected to generate about $6 million in revenue.

The contract with Geneva, Switzerland-based Bunge SA is for a minimum of 11 to 13 months, and is expected to commence at the beginning of August, Diana said.

The gross charter rate for the vessel -- the m/v Oceanis -- is $18,000 per day, the company said.

Shares of Diana were down 1 percent at $13.00 in trading before the bell Friday. They closed at $13.12 Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange.
