McGraw-Hill hires Evercore to sell BusinessWeek- Bloomberg

July 13 (Reuters) - McGraw-Hill (MHP.N) has hired Evercore Partners Inc (EVR.N), a top U.S. merger advisory boutique to sell BusinessWeek magazine, Bloomberg said, citing a person close to the situation.

The news agency said spokesmen for McGraw-Hill and Evercore declined to comment.

They could not immediately be reached for comment by Reuters.

BusinessWeek, founded in 1929, has around 4.8 million readers each week in 140 countries, according to the magazine's website. (Reporting by Ajay Kamalakaran in Bangalore; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
