India's Dr. Reddy's gets FDA nod for omeprazole

MUMBAI, Nov 1 (Reuters) - Indian drug maker Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd (REDY.BO)(RDY.N) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for omeprazole delayed-release capsules in 10 and 20 mg dosages, the regulator's Web site showed.

The drug, a generic equivalent of Prilosec, is indicated in the treatment of stomach ulcers and acid reflux.
