SEX TOYS EXPECTED TO BOOST SSL
SSL (SSL.L: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Tuesday it expected to meet its double-digit operating profit growth target after strong sales over the year to March 31.
The healthcare company attributed much of the growth to the "strong performance of Durex condoms" combined with the introduction of the Durex Play range of sex toys.
SSL also highlighted solid trading at its Scholl footcare and sandals division, noting the success of products such as its cracked heel repair cream and the autumn and winter footwear range. Chief executive Garry Watts also expressed confidence for further profit growth in the year ahead. Prepared for Reuters by Durrants ($1=.5082 Pound)
