Apache CEO more cautious on 2008 production
HOUSTON (Reuters) - The chief executive of oil and gas company Apache Corp (APA.N) said on Thursday the company's prior production goal for 2008 is attainable, but possible disruptions in the North Sea and Argentina have prompted the company to take a more conservative view.
CEO Steve Farris told analysts on a conference call that a production growth "range of 4 percent to 6 percent would probably be more conservative."
In its last earnings conference call, Farris said Apache forecast 2008 production growth of 6 percent.
