Calif. Dynegy Moss Landing 1 power plant returns

LOS ANGELES, May 8 (Reuters) - A 510-megawatt natural gas-fired unit at the Dynegy Inc. Moss Landing power station was back on line by Tuesday afternoon, the California Indepdendent System Operator reported on Tuesday.

Unit 1 at the station was back on line after being out since April 28 for planned maintenance.

The 2,500-megawatt station is near Salinas in Monterey County about 90 miles south of San Francisco.
