Ex-Stanford CFO to plead guilty in 2 weeks-lawyer
HOUSTON, July 13 (Reuters) - Former Stanford International Bank Ltd Chief Financial Officer James Davis plans to enter a guilty plea to federal charges within two weeks, his lawyer, David Finn, told a U.S. judge in Houston on Monday.
Davis faces conspiracy and obstruction charges related to a $7 billion scheme involving certificates of deposit issued by the offshore bank in Antigua. (Reporting by Anna Driver; Editing by Lisa Von Ahn)
