Sunoco seen restarting crude unit at Eagle Point-filing
NEW YORK, July 24 (Reuters) - Sunoco Inc. (SUN.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) was seen restarting a crude unit at its 145,000 barrel per day Eagle Point refinery in Westville, New Jersey after losing power Wednesday, according to a filing with state regulators.
According to the filing, the company exceeded its permitted levels of sulfur dioxite when a loss of power shut down a crude unit and subsequently restarted it after repairs were done.
A company spokesman was not immediately available for comment. (Reporting by Janet McGurty; Editing by John Picinich)
