Shell to work on Deer Park, Texas, coker compressor
SINGAPORE, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L) will perform maintenance to replace a valve on the coker wet gas compressor at its 340,000 barrels per day Deer Park, Texas refinery, the company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
The maintenance is taking place now as the next scheduled unit shutdown is not until 2012, it said. It gave no details on the impact to operations or production rates.
Mexico's state oil company Pemex [PEMX.UL] owns a 50 percent interest in the Deer Park refinery.
