TOKYO, Oct 16 (Reuters) - Japanese car parts maker Toyota Boshoku Corp (3116.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Tuesday it would build a $57 million factory in the U.S. state of Indiana to manufacture car seat frames from 2010.

The plant would employ about 230 workers in the business year starting April 2009, the company, part of the Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) group, said in a statement.

The factory would supply Toyota Boshoku's seat assembly plant nearby, which would then supply the seats to Toyota's light trucks plant in Indiana, a spokeswoman said.

The investment is part of the company's planned capital expenditure for this business year and would not affect its profit forecasts for this year, she added.

Toyota Boshoku's shares fell 3.2 percent to 3,690 yen in midmorning trade, underperforming a 0.9 percent drop in the transport sector subindex .
