ADB Kuroda: Further sharp dollar falls unlikely
TOKYO, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Asian Development Bank President Haruhiko Kuroda said on Thursday he does not see much chance of further sharp falls in the dollar.
But much will depend on whether problems in the U.S. financial system stemming from subprime woes are resolved and whether the U.S. economy avoids falling into a recession, he said. Kuroda, speaking at a symposium, also said he expects no change in the U.S. government's dollar policy, which is to leave dollar movements up to the market. (Reporting by Leika Kihara)
