TOKYO, April 20 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Koji Omi said on Friday that China's economy is moving in a favourable trend, as is the global economy in general.

He declined to comment on foreign exchange and stock market movements.

"Regarding foreign exchange, the G7 agreed that it should reflect economic fundamentals," Omi told a news conference.

China's economy grew at a blistering 11.1 percent annual pace in the first quarter, data showed on Thursday, raising fears that interest rates would need to rise again soon.
