BOJ's Fukui: to decide policy on econ development

TOKYO, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Toshihiko Fukui said on Friday the central bank will decide future monetary policy by examining if the economy is following the bank's scenario.

"While worries are rising over the impact of subprime loan problems on global financial markets, domestic accommodative conditions are being maintained," Fukui told the budget committee of parliament's lower house. (Reporting by Tetsushi Kajimoto)
