Japan Fujii:Extra budget won't top Y2.7 trln-Kyodo

TOKYO, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii said the size of an expected second extra budget for the year to March 2010 was unlikely to exceed 2.7 trillion yen ($30.12 billion), Kyodo news agency reported on Monday.

Fujii made the remark after meeting Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, according to Kyodo.

National Strategy Minister Naoto Kan has previously said the government will likely come up with an extra budget amounting to 2.7 trillion yen. ($1=89.64 Yen) (Reporting by Leika Kihara)
