BOJ's Fukui: Big market moves could affect economy
TOKYO, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui said on Friday the central bank needs to keep in mind the risk of unexpectedly big market moves, such as those of long-term interest rates, affecting Japan's economy.
"We have in our mind the view that there could be unexpectedly large swings in financial markets," Fukui told a lower house financial committee.
"That risk has not materialised yet, but we think that is a fairly big risk," he said.
