TOKYO, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui said on Thursday that Japan's basic positive economic cycle remains intact although it has weakened.

"We need to do a scrupulous analysis of the impact (of rising oil prices) on the cycle of output, income and spending," Fukui said at the lower house budget committee. (Reporting by Yuzo Saeki)
