Japan MOF official says yen unlikely key G7 topic

TOKYO, Feb 7 (Reuters) - A senior official at the Ministry of Finance said on Wednesday that while the Group of Seven financial officials' meeting later this week may discuss the Japanese currency, it was unlikely to be the main subject of their talks.

"I don't think that's going to be one of the main topics on the agenda," the senior Japanese finance ministry official told reporters when asked about the yen.

"But it's natural to have some discussion about it," the official added.
