SAP reiterates not interested in buying BEA

FRANKFURT, Oct 29 (Reuters) - German software group SAP (SAPG.DE) is still not interested in buying BEA Systems Inc BEAS.O after Oracle Corp (ORCL.O) withdrew its $6.7 billion offer for BEA, a spokesman for SAP said on Monday, reiterating comments from SAP Chief Executive Henning Kagermann.

"(Kagermann) has said his focus is now on smaller acquisitions for the time being. That means he is not interested in acquiring BEA," the spokesman said.
