Global Cash Access names new chief executive

NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Global Cash Access (GCA.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Wednesday that it has named Scott Betts as president, chief executive and interim chief financial officer of the operator of ATMs for casinos.

Betts succeeds Kirk Sanford who is retiring from the company to pursue other interests, the company said.

Betts was previously an executive vice president at credit card processor First Data Corp, Global Cash said. (Reporting by Emily Chasan)
