Draxis Health chief executive to retire Dec. 31

NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Draxis Health Inc DAX.TO said on Wednesday its president and chief executive, Martin Barkin, plans to retire by the end of this year.

His retirement will be effective on Dec. 31, the pharmaceutical company said.

The company's chief operating officer, Dan Brazier, will immediately take on his roles and responsibilities, until the company names a successor, Draxis said.
