Circor International posts higher Q3 profit
NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Circor International Inc (CIR.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), a maker of valves and fluid control products, posted a higher quarterly profit Wednesday as revenue climbed.
The company said its third-quarter profit rose to $10.4 million, or 62 cents a share, from $7.3 million, or 45 cents a year earlier.
Excluding special items, Circor said it earned 59 cents for the quarter. Analysts, on average, were expecting the company to earn 56 cents a share for the quarter, according to Reuters Estimates. (Reporting by Justin Grant, editing by Valerie Lee)
