Astellas Pharma, King Pharma settle lawsuits against Teva
Oct 22 (Reuters) - Astellas Pharma Inc said its U.S. units alongwith Item Development AB and King Pharmaceuticals Inc (KG.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) had settled lawsuits against Teva Pharmaceutical related to Adenoscan, an agent used in heart stress study.
The lawsuits pertained to an abbreviated new drug application filed by a unit of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TEVA.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) for a generic version of Adenoscan.
Under the settlement, Teva Pharmaceutical will be able to launch its generic for Adenoscan under a license in September 2012. (Reporting by Anant Vijay Kala in Bangalore)
