LONDON, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Premier Foods Plc (PFD.L: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Wednesday it planned to close its bakery in Bradford and its bread distribution depot in Telford, affecting 430 jobs.

The proposals do not include distribution operations located at the Bradford bakery, Premier Foods said in a statement.

Premier Foods, home to Branston Pickle, Oxo stock cubes and Crosse & Blackwell sauces, has bought its way to becoming Britain's largest food firm by buying Campbells Soup Co's (CPB.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) British and Irish operations and RHM in the past year.

On July 2, Premier Foods said 580 jobs were at risk from its proposals to close six of its 11 factories following a review of its domestic manufacturing facilities.
