Oxford Industries posts lower quarterly net profit

LOS ANGELES, April 3 (Reuters) - Apparel maker Oxford Industries Inc. (OXM.N) said on Tuesday that quarterly net profit fell, amid lower sales in its menswear business.

The owner of the Tommy Bahama and Ben Sherman brands reported net income of $9.7 million, or 54 cents per share, for its fiscal third quarter, compared with $14.6 million, or 82 cents per share, in the year-ago period.
