(Reuters) - The American Kennel Club unveiled its top 10 list of most popular dog breeds in the United States on Wednesday. The club recognizes 157 different breeds.

Here is the list of top dogs nationwide:

Labrador Retriever

Yorkshire Terrier

German Shepherd

Golden Retriever

Beagle

Boxer

Dachshund

Poodle

Shih Tzu
