(Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc is offering a $100 gift card along with the purchase of a BlackBerry phone for one week, in its ongoing bid to attract more holiday shoppers.

The offer starting at 8 a.m. on November 14 will be applicable to purchases of an assortment of BlackBerry devices, and will have to be coupled with a two-year contract from one of four major wireless carriers, Wal-Mart said.

These carriers are AT&T Inc, Sprint Nextel Corp, Deutsche Telekom unit T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, which is a joint venture between Vodafone and Verizon Communications.

Last week, the world's largest retailer said it will be offering its top 10 pre-order DVD movie titles at just $10 and free home delivery on its entire assortment of DVD and Blu-ray titles.

Some of the BlackBerry models on offer include the AT&T Curve 8310, Sprint Curve 8330 (Red & Titanium colors), T-Mobile 8520 (Black, White, and Frost) and Verizon Storm.

Wal-Mart said customers can use their gift card on the same day or save it for other purchases needed through the holiday season.
