UPDATE 1-Peru's economy grows 11.52 pct in June

LIMA, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Peru's economy, one of the fastest growing in the world, expanded 11.52 percent in June from the same month a year ago, official data showed on Friday, pushed by booming domestic demand and construction sector strength.

The result was slightly above the median forecast of 11.4 percent growth in a Reuters survey.

In the first six months of this year, Peru's economy grew 10.35 percent versus the same period last year, and in the 12 months through June expansion measured 9.87 percent, the data showed. (Reporting by Teresa Cespedes; Writing by Dana Ford)
