 BRATISLAVA, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events to watch which may affect Slovak financial
markets on Wednesday.
 
 RETAIL SALES
 The Statistics Office will publish October retail sales
data, 0800 GMT. The market forecast 4.4 percent annual growth.
 
 GAS DEAL
 The dominant Slovak gas company SPP and Russian gas firm
Gazprom will hold a news conference on a new contract on Russian
gas deliveries, 1030 GMT.
 
 GOVERNMENT MEETING
 Government will hold a regular weekly meeting.
 
 FINANCE MINISTER SURVIVES NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE
 Slovakia's finance minister survived a no-confidence vote in
parliament on Wednesday as the opposition, accusing him of
costing the state millions of dollars, failed to gain the
required majority to dismiss him.

 C.BANK DRAINS SKK 153.3 BLN IN REPO TENDER
 The Slovak central bank (NBS) accepted all bids in a regular
two-week repo tender on Tuesday, draining 153.269 billion crowns
($6.37 billion) from the market, NBS data showed.

 S.KOREA'S KIA CUT OVERSEAS PRODUCTION - OFFICIALS
 Kia Motors Corp (000270.KS), South Korea's No.2 automaker,
has been cutting production at its overseas factories as global
recession is bites into auto demand around the world, company
officials said on Wednesday.

 CONSTRUCTION NO-CONFIDENCE
 Opposition Christian Democrats are considering initiating a
no-confidence vote against Construction and Regional Development
Minister Marian Janusek, accusing him of wasting over a hundred
of millions of dollars from the state budget.

 BANK FEES
 Prime Minister Robert Fico said the government would
negotiate with banks over their fees and admitted a possible
regulation in the area, following a research report which showed
that fees had risen by 20 percent year-on-year.

 LOTTERY DEAL
 The contract between the state-run lottery Tipos and a
Cyprus-based company showed that Slovakia could lose a further
hundreds of millions of dollars after a court ordered Tipos to
pay 1.9 billion crown ($79.63 million) to the company.

 More companies based in eastern Slovakia will cut hundreds
