TOKYO, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Japanese wage earners' total cash earnings fell 0.6 percent in September from a year earlier, revised government data showed on Friday, underscoring a lack of inflationary pressures from wages in Japan.
Total cash earnings fell to 273,008 yen ($2,479).
An initial reading reported late last month showed a 0.5 percent fall.
The decline in total cash earnings, which include overtime pay, monthly wages and special payments, came after a rise in August, which was the first year-on-year gain in nine months.
Many Japanese companies, remembering the pain of business restructuring over the past decade, have been reluctant to increase wages.
The following table shows revised data on September monthly income, with year-on-year percentage changes: ----------------------------------------------------------
