Japan June trade surplus -88.9 pct year/year

 TOKYO, July 24 (Reuters) - Japan's trade surplus in June fell
a larger-than-expected 88.9 percent from a year earlier to 138.6
billion yen ($1.28 billion),Ministry of Finance data showed on
Thursday. [JPTBAL=ECI]
 That compared with economists' median forecast for a 59.6
percent fall in the surplus to 503.0 billion yen.
