SHANGHAI (Hollywood Reporter) - The Black Eyed Peas will perform a private concert for about 700 people in Shanghai on Tuesday to support Red Cross relief efforts for the victims of the recent China earthquake, organizers said.

The concert at the Shanghai Concert Hall was originally intended as a promotional event for beverage companies Chivas Brothers and Pernod Ricard China. But it became a benefit in the aftermath of the May 12 earthquake that has killed more than 69,000 people.

"We will invite our VIP guests, main customers in China, along with media to the concert," said Chivas spokeswoman Vanessa Wright.

The concert also will feature Hong Kong singer Karen Mok, who acted in Stephen Chow's comedy film "Shaolin Soccer."
