LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Rebecca De Mornay, best known for starring opposite Tom Cruise in the hit film "Risky Business," was sentenced to three years' probation on Tuesday after pleading no contest to drunken driving.

De Mornay also was ordered by Superior Court Judge H. Chester Horn to enroll in a three-month alcohol-education program and pay fines, restitution and fees totaling more than $1,400.

The 48-year-old actress, who played a call girl opposite Cruise in 1983's "Risky Business," was not in court for the hearing, which stemmed from her October arrest in Beverly Hills for driving under the influence of alcohol.

De Mornay's attorney entered a no contest plea on her behalf to a single count of driving with a blood-alcohol level over the legal limit. A no contest plea is the equivalent of pleading guilty under California law.
