US STOCKS-Futures extend gains on Bear Stearns financing

NEW YORK, March 14 (Reuters) - U.S. stock futures rose further on Friday following news that JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will provide financing for Wall Street bank Bear Stearns Co Inc. BSC.N.

S&P 500 futures SPc2 rose 17.7 points, above fair value, a pricing evaluation that accounts for interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract.

Dow Jones industrial average futures DJc2 rose 127 points, while Nasdaq 100 NDc2 futures rose 25 points. (Reporting by Ellis Mnyandu; Editing by James Dalgleish)
