Abkhazia says Georgian drone carried missile

TBILISI, May 9 (Reuters) - Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia said on Friday a Georgian spy drone it downed the day before was carrying an air-to-air missile, a Russian news agency report said.

Georgia denies a drone was shot down.

"The ammunition it was carrying represented a danger for civilians as well as for peacekeeping troops," Interfax quoted Gary Kupalba, deputy defence minister in the breakaway territory, as saying.

Tbilisi denied the allegation as it did on Thursday when Abkhazian authorities announced whatüà
