FACTBOX-U.S. agency debt holdings, transactions by country

 WASHINGTON, July 22 (Reuters) - China is the biggest holder
of U.S. agency debt issued by Fannie Mae FNM.N, Freddie Mac
FRE.N and other government-sponsored enterprises and federal
agencies, based on the most recent data available from the U.S.
Treasury Department.
 The first of the following tables shows countries with the
largest agency debt holdings as of June 30, 2007. The second
table shows countries with the largest net sales and purchases
of agency bonds in March, April and May of this year, including
transactions by Group of Eight countries.
