Israel kills two Palestinians in Gaza - Hamas
GAZA, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Israeli troops killed two Palestinians close to the border fence near Gaza's southern town of Khan Younis on Thursday, the Hamas Islamist group and Palestinian hospital officials said.
Hamas, which seized control of the Gaza Strip from the Fatah forces of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in June, identified the two as members of one of the group's forces.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said troops operating on the Israeli side of the border spotted two armed men close to the fence and fired at them.
